Hi Graduates,
Just a reminder of information for graduation, and flyer(for pictures at graduation if you are interested)** ceremony is on Saturday Jan 3, 2008 1pm at The Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in the Sunoco Performing Arts Theater. The Whitaker Center is located at 3rd and Market Streets, Harrisburg. Street parking or you can park in the Walnut Street Parking Garage(elevator from garage goes to Whitaker Center-hit the A button for Arcade). If you need directions, you are welcome to call me at my home before graduation day….or my cell on graduation day.
· Graduates arrive at 12 noon sharp
· Graduates just bring yourself, no pocketbooks, phones, ect…. Please leave with parents or friends, as we have no place to store these items. Bobbi pins will be provided if needed for caps.
· Graduates NO JEANS OR TEE-SHIRTS, skirts, nice slacks, dressier shirts, and I would prefer NO SNEAKERS.
· Graduates gowns are GREEN, GOLD or WHITE, please call or email your choice. (white caps will be worn by everyone regardless of gown color)
· Graduates please email or mail your short bio by December 12th these will be read at graduation and printed in the graduation program…keep short –one paragraph,t and clean) Parents are welcome to WRITE a brief note to your graduate, which will be printed in the program. Also due by December 12th If received late, they will not be printed
In the graduation program, but will be read.
· Graduates you are welcome to speak or perform(you are class Valedictorian). Please see that I know that you will be participating and what, if any, equipment you will need. Music(CD’s, Tapes) can be played to accompany, and a piano is available.
· Parents need to be there at 12:15pm to sign diploma and get instructions for ceremony(parents….you will be going on stage to give the diploma).
· Parents If you are available, I could use some help setting up the stage, and having someone available at the table for parents to sign the diplomas
